Danny is a bus driver as well as a custodian at our school. He is a person who is a perfect example of someone who portrays the character trait of Honesty. He is one of the most trustworthy people I have ever had the privilege of working around.
He picks the tiniest objects which are worthless to most people and places them in a basket to be given to the rightful owners. He also works in the rooms every evening and never touches anything left out either intentionally or accidently. He is someone I would trust with anything I valued. He looks out for everyone he works with and makes sure everything in their rooms is left as it should be. He is also willing to go above and beyond his job description to help with anything that I have ever asked him to do. He is a privilege to work with.

Throughout the day Payton is responsible for being a peer helper. His job is to help another student remain honest and trustworthy. Payton has to make sure this student makes it to and from areas in the building safely and he basically is the defendant and prosecutor for this student. When we have to get to the bottom of a story, Payton always tells the truth regardless if it hurts the situation or makes it better. What amazes me about Payton is he is just basically a witness of the day with the other student. He does not boast about his job or let it boost his ego. He does not make up stories. He seems to always relay the story the exact way it happened.
I think Payton is an excellent example of honesty because he is so humble with his responsibilities. He has remained down to earth and the student he helps trust him to tell the truth. This student will often argue with you over the real story but when Payton is able to tell the story, the student will surrender because the student knows that Payton will tell the truth.
