Adult of the Month winner for Courage: Brandi Scholz
Mrs. Brandi Scholz struggled in school with her studies but did not give in to failure. She taught herself coping skills and strategies to comprehend. She met challenges in learning daily.
She now uses the same tenacity, drive and courage with her students who have learning difficulties. I believe that she teaches them neither to be afraid of something hard nor to give in to the fear of failure. This is why Brandi Scholz deserves the character award for Courage.
Student of the Month winner for Courage: Jordan Dove.
Jordan is a student who definitely exhibits courage. He is ready to take on nay task and fulfill it to the best of his ability. Even though things may not always come easy for him, he never gives up but continues to do his best and make the best of any situation.
Jordan is well liked by his peers and is willing to do whatever is asked of him. Regardless of the challenge, he will try to make something positive out of it without complaining or giving up. He always smiles and looks for the bright side of any situation. He is a very mature young man who has overcome many obstacles and that is why we believe Jordan deserves the character award for courage.
