Adult of the Month winner for Loyalty: Connie Price

Loyalty is being faithful to friends, family, teams and our country. Being true to a promise or duty. That is why I want to nominate Mrs. Connie Price as the adult of the month for Loyalty.

Connie started teaching in August of 1980 and has been a staff member of Southern Elementary since August 1982.  She has taught and touched the lives of many Pulaski County children over these years and she continues to be a very vital part of the school.

Connie loves what she does and has not only been a very dedicated staff member, she took the promise she made so many years ago to be a teacher and to make a difference in the lives of children, very seriously. She is a true Southern Brave and wants the best for all of our students.

Student of the Month winner for Loyalty: Sarah Beth Meece.

I thought that my class should get to choose who would represent them for Loyalty. They were each given a sheet of paper and told to write who thought should win for Loyalty. They voted for Sarah Beth. Sarah Beth has many loyal qualities. Sarah Beth is friends with everybody. She doesn’t care what kind of clothes they wear or anything like that. If she’s your friend, she is going to be your friend, no matter what. She won’t let anybody say anything bad about her friends or classmates. Her classmates, Ms. Glenda, and I are all proud to nominate Sarah Beth Meece as the Character award winner for Loyalty.

Ethan and Owen thought that Sarah Beth is loyal because she is friends with everybody.

Camille said that she is your friend no matter what. Mia said that she is fun and nice to be around.

Breanna said that she likes everybody.  Serenity said that she is nice.

Johnathan said she should win because she is loyal and pretty.

Hannah and Cole said that she is loyal because she helps take care of Eli. (Sarah Beth says that it is just something big sisters are supposed to do, but it is a hard job)

Mason said that Sarah Beth helps him with his work and draws him pictures.
