Every month teachers nominate a student out of their homeroom and an adult from our school, whom they feel represents the Character word of that month. The Character team meets and they choose a student from each grade level as the grade representative and an overall student winner and adult winner. Students and adults are recognized at the PTA meetings, they receive a certificate and pencil. The overall winner also receives a bumper sticker. The names of the overall student winner and the adult of the month are forwarded on to central office and they can be chosen as the County Character Education winners.
