February Adult of the month winner for Honesty; Ranee McCoy.

Ranee McCoy is very honest, even when it would be easier for her to be dishonest, or shed a slanted light on situations. That’s not Ranee. She is truthful at all times. There are no “special circumstances” which have caused her to fall short of her own obvious value of honesty. Some people may be honest but yet utilize little or no tact in reference to situations at hand. But, Ranee can tell you the truth, even when it’s not what you want to hear, and somehow there is always such conviction in her words that they are undeniable and must be accepted. With her honesty there lies true wisdom, or maybe within her wisdom lies true honesty. Both go hand in hand and Ranee is the epitome of both. For this reason, I would like to nominate Ranee McCoy as building representative for character word HONESTY.

Student of the month winner for Honesty: Brandi Jones

Brandi Jones would be a perfect nominee for every character word that we acknowledge.
She is one if the kindest, best natured students I have had the privilege to teach.

Brandi is looked upon by her classmates as a genuine friend and is liked by everyone. She displays honesty in everything she does. She also encourages others to exhibit the same kind of character. If I ever need to question someone about events that have occurred, I can always rely on Brandi to be honest and truthful. Even if she doesn’t want to get other in trouble, she will try to explain the events in a way to avoid conflict for her classmates. She is a peacemaker and goes out of her way to help other resolve their issues without causing problems in the classroom, as well as on the playground, and all other situations that occur around her.
