Alexis Lovins won a Certificate of Recognition for writing " Why my Grandparent should be the AARP Kentucky Grandparent of the Year" essay at Southern Elementary. Her essay will represent Southern Elementary at the district level.
The contest was sponsored by the Kentucky AARP and the Kentucky Retired
Teachers Association.
