The PTA Mission is to support student success through:

There's a place for everyone in PTA: moms, dads, step-parents, foster parents, grandparents, aunts, uncles, cousins, Middle/ High school students, teachers, principals, custodians, cafeteria workers, teacher's aides, counselors, school board members, superintendents, employers, employees, senior citizens, all members of the community!

• Participate in Fall Festival

• Provide student planners for every teacher who requests them

• Provide children an opportunity to shop for family members at Santa's Workshop

• Sponsors 2 Southern Elementary students for the Guardian Angel Tree

• Sponsored popcorn parties, ice cream parties and games for reward days

• Sponsored 2 children for the Build a Bed Program

• Box Tops

• Labels for Education

• Security Cameras throughout the school

• Stage Curtains

• Playground Equipment

• Active Wands for all Kindergarten classes

• Teacher Appreciation Gifts

• Helped BETA Club get started at Southern Elementary
